Mary Mungovan, M.A.. graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master’s of Arts in Audiology from Indiana University.

Prior to starting Resolution Hearing Group, Mary was the director of Audiology for a large ENT based practice with offices throughout Central Indiana. She is currently the President of Resolution Hearing Group and a partner at Alpaca Audiology. Additionally, she is an instructor at Purdue University teaching practice development. Mary has significant experience opening offices and managing operations for facilities in ENT clinics, hospitals, multispecialty practices and retail settings. Mary brings a unique “real world” approach to practice development. She works closely with the hearing care providers to develop: Best Practices, organizational efficiencies, physician referral strategies and patient retention programs.

Mary is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Doctors of Audiology and Academy of Otolaryngology Administrators. When not working, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Alyssa Rex, Au.D. graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Purdue University and her Doctorate in Audiology from Central Michigan University.

Dr. Rex previously owned her own practice, was the assistant director of Audiology for a large ENT based Audiology department and is currently the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) director for the State of Indiana. Alyssa has expertise in pediatrics, marketing, grant writing and building Best Practice guidelines. She is a guest speaker at Purdue University and Indiana University as well as numerous community events.

Alyssa is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the National Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Coordinators as well as the American Speech and Hearing Association. When not working, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Christa Smith, AuD. graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences from Purdue University and her Doctorate in Audiology from Ball State University.

Dr. Smith was a clinical audiologist for 10 years prior to working as the Director of Audiology for a large ENT practice. She has significant experience operating and managing ENT based Audiology departments as well as consulting with private practice hearing care professionals. She was previously the Program Coordinator and associate clinical professor for the Doctor of Audiology program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is guest speaker at the Purdue University and Ball State University graduate audiology programs.

She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology as well as the American Speech and Hearing Association. When not working, Christa enjoys spending time traveling with her family and attending a variety of sporting events.

Ben Copeland, MD, Ph.D. received his BA in Biology from Wittenburg University where he was a member of the honors program and graduated Cum Laude. He earned his PhD in Neuroscience from Ohio State University College of Medicine and MD from Ohio State. His fellowship training in Otology/ Neurotology was completed at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, as well as a residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Copeland is the co-founder of Resolution Hearing Group and director of physician outreach for Alpaca Audiology. He has practiced Otology and Neurotology in Indianapolis, IN with Otolaryngology Associates since 2003 and has held multiple leadership positions within the company during his tenure with the practice.
